A note from our CEO and co-founder, Alex Zaccaria

In some ways, it is hard for me to believe that an idea that started as a side hustle landed us here. In other ways, it isn’t hard at all. Now 24 million+ people know and recognize what we first believed, and have since proven.  

We all have parts of ourselves dispersed across the digital universe: our passion projects, businesses, personalities and causes we care about. To bring this together was one thing. To help our creators build their profiles, dreams and businesses has been another. This funding means we can continue to evolve how we deliver more for each and every one of our Linktree users across the world.

It also means we will continue to build a team of passionate, talented people on a mission to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. We could not have reached this milestone without our team, and this will always be the case with every success we have. It is to be shared with our people, always.

We are as committed as ever to putting our people first. Reflecting on the last few months, I couldn’t be more proud of what we are creating for our Linkers. From our Transpositive Inclusion policy and Total Rewards program to our recently launched Pregnancy Loss and Miscarriage leave. We know what it takes to build a great company – it is the people delivering on the vision day in, day out. This round of funding will allow us to grow our team of talented, diverse individuals who, just like the creators on our platform, are not only one thing.

On this special day in Linktree’s history, as well as acknowledging the team and of course our investors who continue to back our great company and the ambitious vision we have, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my fellow co-founders, Nicky and Anthony, who have been alongside me since day one. 

To our 240+ team members across 13 countries and 17 cities who Defy the Ordinary everyday; all of you have made a huge impact on our success so far, and I look forward to continuing to Go Further Together. Today is special, and we celebrate that together as a team. But we also stay humble knowing that we are where we are because we designed something people use, love and have come to rely upon. No matter how much funding we receive or how large our company becomes, this will always drive everything we do.
